Pending Interview
Afternoon peeps.
Here is the cliff notes, because everyone is saying "Don't come here for the flow".
I do not have a college degree. So as far as I can tell I do not have any other option (besides flowing from PSA or piedmont) as far as getting to the majors. I am not in a mad rush to do in a certain amount of time, so that doesn't matter to me.
I also already live in NY, so the "you get sent to NY" doesn't bother me. id rather base out of NY for my whole career. Also, I dont want to commute and end up spending my standby time at an airport in philly for PSA or Piedmont, when I could be sitting in my living room waiting.
I used to be a restaurant manager, so anything that isn't 12 hour workdays without breaks, sounds great.
So instead of telling me to duck and cover, or run and hide. Can you guys tell me what I should be getting ready to talk about on the interview?
Thanks

Sure bud. The technical was a bunch of obscure checkride questions basically. No scenarios, just repetition of rote memorized facts. Stumper questions on airport diagrams, STARs, brief this approach - all Jepps all DFW.
When do I need a departure alternate? Destination? Second alternate?
RVSM?
What’s V1? V2?
Those are the ones I remember.
HR interview the guy just came in and we talked about our hobbies for like 3 minutes and he said I was good.
Aviationinterviews has the best gouge, worth the $, and other applicants are using it so you run the risk of looking dumb by comparison. That said, I didn’t use it and still got hired.
