Yes, that is correct. AA's overall goal is to shrink the regional portfolio and put more flying on the WO. More flying at the Voy is always good.
Agreed I gotchu! Just make sure you communicate your point better for the other folks [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I predict THKooj will flow back to Envoy in 2021.

American just announced growth in Boston on the e175. Dont get your pants wet, republic opened a domicile there 6 months ago.
yeap more good news coming for the non w/o's |
True to form aag grows republic out of boston.
but you have the flow in your wallet. |
While generally depressing there might be a silver lining there too. If Republic increases their Boston footprint, maybe they won't have time to eat our lunch in 4 courses with room for dessert (80+ pairings lost to them) in NYC.

If AA decides to sell 76 seats on those pairings, then it's hard to compete against that.

We don't have enough 175's to fly those routes.
Looking forward to seeing Republic open a DFW base lol |

I guess you're under the impression that having finite numbers of 175s is strictly an Envoy problem? And AA switched former Republic 175 pairings to Envoy 145s in Miami because those passengers really liked not having wifi?

The first thing AA decides is what gauge is needed for which route. If scope limits this, then they look where they can make the most money. And for now it seems like that's in NYC over MIA. So more 76 seaters on the east coast which is why the Envoy NYC base seems to have flatlined for a while now and Republic is growing in Boston and NY.
If you still aren't caught up at this point, I'm going to have to unsat you for this thread. |

Yes, exactly. 145s appear where 175s are not available. If Republic 175s are moved to Boston, they have to come from somewhere.

Aag could not get out of a wet paper bag with a knife in each hand. They are clueless.
