Conference Call

That was the most unprofessional conference call I have ever been on.

The call was meaningful and informative, but people need to figure out how to mute their phones.
Joining/leaving beeping was annoying, but as mentioned it was the first call using that platform

Maybe they should have done a test run to work out the kinks.

Saying “ok lets have people un-mute to ask some questions” was a horrible idea. What the hell did they think was going to happen?
should have been email in your name and status to be added to the talking list. Get through as many as they could in a certain period of time.

some of the questions were downright stupid....”Are we going to ask the company for reimbursement for food delivery charges?” 😂😂😂😂 youve got to be kidding me.

Years ago in the Air Force the commanding General was coming for a base visit. Everything cleaned and polished. The Wing commander sends out word that says, “listen, don’t ask the general any stupid questions. He’s a general. Everything is great here. Got it?” During a mass gathering when the General asked for questions some Staff Sergeant stands up and asks the General if he can help him with getting a pothole fixed in his driveway in base housing. No joke.

Just goes to show you there is some art in hosting a radio talk show with call in questions.

On another note. Thank you to the MEC for putting this LOA out in the open and the rationale for your stance. This is much better than the closed door hush routine that previous MECs have done.

Apart from all the audio glitches I thought it went well.

Unless I misheard....”this is not really an act of god or an emergency so theres no real threat for force majeure”

Theres every reason in the book for the company to invoke force majeure
