Any word on where everyone will end up that attended the Jan 18 orientation class?

In the most recent indocs the FOs recieved the bases they wanted and all the CAs were sent to ORD.

Thanks for the reply, when do you think you'll be able to hold a line? .

I have no idea. That depends on how fast the FOs in my base above me upgrade, how many DECs come in under me, and how fast we get new planes delivered. People take great delight in telling DECs we will be on reserve forever.

The next vacancy bid award will be the first week of April unless Envoy has a good reason to run it a month early. We spent a month or two in ORD before landing in other bases last summer.

All DECs got assigned ORD. FOs could choose any base - MIA had 11 available, PHX had 12 available, DFW had 31 available, and ORD had unlimited availability. Only a few went to PHX/MIA, most FOs went to DFW and some up to ORD.

For the reserve lines do they build them all with only 12 days off or do some have more than 12 days off? Looks like I would be on reserve for a bit.

All reserve lines are built with 12 days off but you can request to move or drop reserve days. This depends on staffing and is easy to do in DFW and harder to do in the other smaller bases; it's easier for FOs to improve their schedules since there are more of them. If you do drop a reserve day you lose 3.9 hours of pay. Sometimes there are part time or zero time lines available if you are willing to give up pay.

4/11 Orientation had 59 total pilots.

Indoc dates are 4/22, 5/6, and 5/20.

Only 10 people in 4/22. 5/6 is forecasted to have the majority of us. 5/20 will likely be bottom 15/overflow.

Priority goes Cadets, HTFO/DEC/121 time, Street FOs

hey does anyone know the possible orientation date for someone interviewing at the end of this month if they get hired?

May orientation is on the 9th. I assume June will be around the 6th or 13th. They seem to always be on a Thursday first or second week of the month.
