Default Trouble Consolidating

So, my consolidation is due early June and I’m only at 80.5. Talked to the crew scheduling woman who handles such things and she said she’d give me flying “if something opens up.”

I don’t like the sound of that. Kind of panicking right now. Don’t want to go back to more jeopardy events, either with a line check, or more ****ing sims.

I can try to pick up overtime. Any ideas?

They can, and normally would, extend you another 30 days to 150 days without a checkride.

But yeah, I'd pick up trips, whatever to avoid having to another checkride. It will probably be fine, but it's annoying and as you say another jeopardy event on probation.

The additional 30 requires a check ride here, but it can be essentially like another leg of IOE. Indeed jeopardy, but no big deal in theory.

To OP: tell the scheduler you’re willing to go out of base. Send her trips you see in open time if she doesn’t see them first. I was down to the wire and made it happen. OT can help, but she has way more access to OT than you do on our own. Tell her you’re willing to “move your days off” if needed - that gives her more flexibility. I bet I know where you’re based :-)

F/O line check for extension is easy. If you're afraid of it maybe you need it.
