Envoy was the name of 1st class on US Airways Flights.

It is hardly first class but you asked.

I would like to see it flattened so we don't have to make these kind of decisions...let's see feed my kid and rot away or make a smart move that will get me out of the rat race. I do feel for everyone in that situation.

Ah, you live with your parents, got it.

It is a holiday weekend. Move along. This friday Captain Leek Choke himself makes the trip to Euless to meet with the Envoy union. No one is talking as to exactly why yet, but if Mason is correct, and he usually is, then I bet big daddy Pokey is getting a little nervous when Glass is starting a lawsuit battle now.

Five new hires in day one Indoc today. Only slots offered were CRJ in NY. You guys were spot on about class sizes.

MEC is saying current failure rate is 40-50%. 2.5 pilots should make it through IOE. Several classes ago we had 7 in a new hire class: 2 returns from LOA, 1 military guy(will be gone in a New York minute when Delta calls) and 4 true new hires. Again using the 40-50% failure rate in 6-12 months we may only have 1 or 2 of those "new hires" left at Eagle.

40-50 are still leaving a month.

Why should not 40-50 leave envoy monthly. There is no commitment by AAG except lip service. They are handing out flying to others. LAX will have one envoy flight seasonal to ASE no other flights as of middle august. ORD is being downsized even though they posted a vacancy bid for ORD, that covers the flows some what. AAG is giving more flying to Mesa out of lax.
AAG kicked L-eagle out of the flight academy as of July. AAG has threatened demise of envoy if they did not accept the dictatorial contract changes demanded but were voted down 4 times.

So other than to get some 121 experience or brush up for leaving to mainline there is no reason to come to envoy. This has been done by AAG and glass there paid pit bull. So AAG can stick it where the sun don't shine.

Just an opinion based on facts.

I'm curious as to what line of bull the company is selling those new hires in Indoc.
