Envoy takes care of its employees

yesterday an email came out to the employees to drop by there respective supervisors office because envoy had a gift for all the employees.

One free bottle of water for each employee, labeled envoy.

What can you say about a company that goes so far out to take care of its employees.

I am waiting on a STW sticker to place over the word envoy then I'll carry it around with me. Although a COMAIRII sticker above "An AAG company" would make me chuckle too...

It's even better at SkyWest, they give out bag tags that may be eligible for some pointless gift. it's awesome!

Those are intended for employees whose paychecks are too low to allow for the payment of a monthly water bill.

OH THANK GOD I CAN SHOWER THIS WEEK

buddies8 05-09-2014 12:34 PM

You should play the lottery... Out of several dozen bag tags entered ended up with 1 $5 Starbucks win, I'll trade ya!?

bruhaha 05-10-2014 03:58 AM

Mesa used to give out $15 coupons for Butterball turkey every year, don't know if they still do that. You could use it to buy your turkey for Thanksgiving, or you could deposit it for cash and get beer or your choice of poison.

Plus the annual christmas card (picturing JO and his family walking on the beach) that showed up in various states of defacement and profane things done to the wife and daughter in airplanes on the line.

To be followed by "Crews are not authorized consumption of catered bottled water. Refill your gift bottle from the nasty water cooler in the terminal before flight.";)

that is where they got the bottled water in the first place. you don't think they paid for spring water do you?

Hetman 05-10-2014 02:41 PM

If you gave a pilot a bag of gold he would complain that it was too heavy.

Yeah a bottle of water and a bag if gold are an excellent comparison.

I acknowledge that a poorly conceived, poorly executed effort to instill brand loyalty succeeded only in emphasizing a stunning ignorance on the part of management as to the effect of their actions toward their pilots, as well as the demeanor of the pilots, thereby exacerbating an already hostile relationship.

That specific, narrow point being conceded, I stand by my comment.

There's nothing funnier than a guy quoting a 2014 post, and complaining in it in ALL CAPS.

We’re supposed to be reducing the plastic consumption not increasing it 🙄

PDWITHLD

Not sure how/when/why it is used.

jake cutter 10-08-2019 09:49 AM

Envoy takes care of its employees

Pay Withheld. Could be anything.

rld1k 10-08-2019 11:03 AM

We've all been PW for the past 4 months and counting

The problem is that it’s also the same code used when You’re withheld from service but paid, aka suspended while they investigate. They do it anytime they take you off to investigate something they think you did. The problem is they do it at the drop of a hat, and you can never answer employment questions again saying you’ve never been withheld or suspended from service.
Gotta love a Envoy mgt.

Why aren’t they using the awaits training code?
Call or email your base reps or contract compliance

Somebody got lazy using removal codes and didn’t want to take the time to look up the correct removal code. Do not let a PDWITHLD stay on your HI10 if you weren’t removed from flying for an investigation.

If it’s training, it should be an awaits training code.

Id say PG could be anything. PW sounds a bit more serious.

First time in the Envoy terminal E concourse at DFW... looks pretty good. Did spy what looks like a crew room halfway up the escalator. Hope it’s better than the old ones.
