Tl;dr ALPA is useless.

Yes because wasting people's time with emails patting themselves on the back is not a waste of union resources and time, right? These guys are in office for a reason, not to circle jerk each other on the way out the door.

I'll bet zero dollars went into that email. On the other hand, I know for a fact that every LEC rep puts WAY more personal time into union work than they are ever compensated for. There are many long nights, early mornings and "I'll be right there (wife/daughters name here) right after I finish (countless small union task)". Recognizing the service of a rep as he steps down, regardless of where they go, is hardly a waste of time or a circle jerk. There are positions open, perhaps you could step up and see for yourself. Or, maybe not...

Ahh yes, its nice and easy to poke fun at those that are on the battle field daily at this company. Still waiting on the outcome of your accusations from the hard work NY LEC captain.

Good Luck.

Talk to me when you have 16 years on that battle field. And have worked in a union officer position. Oh and that NY captain would like you to drop the subject. I'm poking fun at crybabies. I'm not poking fun at my friends who work the line at eagle and don't whine about how their lives aren't what they dreamed.

Money is not the only resource the union has at its disposal, time is just as valuable. Those emails "congratulating" Val are an absolute waste of time, please tell me how they help the interests the union is supposedly working for.

Volunteer for a morally bankrupt, ineffective, archaic, worthless organization like ALPA? No thanks. The last regime under Tony and the current group have a lot of similarity. Both leadership groups were/are self serving and inept. Both organizations loved to talk about the "sacrifices" which as far as I can tell is getting out of trips on the line so they can fly to DC and eat on my dime while circle jerking.

Get off your high horse and go troll the AA guys.

Shut the **** up, you did it to yourself. The fact that you're a bitter, jealous lifer is no ones fault but your own.

As for bzzt: you are so hopelessly pathetic it's ridiculous...
