No not true. Although more may be withheld in taxes from the bonus, at the end of the year when its time to do your taxes, you will pay the same tax rate. It simply means maybe you get a little bigger tax refund then you are accustomed to. All in all, it all "comes out in the wash" type of thing.

Thanks, I just remember someone discussing that.

But it wont matter.

Anyone at Envoy right now will be long gone in 10 years, it will be the rest of the regional industry that will suffer the scars of this agreement.

Management, has again won.

What is Envoy's fleet plan going forward with ratification?

The best info we have is 68 E145's(through 2021) and now 40 E170's. Options on 90 additional E170's. We currently have around 190 ish aircraft on property. So this deal is not growth it is either still shrinking or replacement.

I wonder if you could negotiate to keep those CRJs too. Imagine that. PSA... out.

Not happening from what I have been told. Its Either get 40 Ejets with 90 options, or let her die with a fleet of POS 145's that are about to expire. The end.

Good Luck

They have stated they want each carrier to focus on one fleet type. The Scum get the CRJs and Envoy would be the Embraer fleet type. Peidmont focuses on the Dash and some of our Embraer until we merge.
