They have stated they want each carrier to focus on one fleet type. The Scum get the CRJs and Envoy would be the Embraer fleet type. Peidmont focuses on the Dash and some of our Embraer until we merge.

It sounds like if Envoy accepts this deal then PSA will be the new premier American go to regional with all of its QOL enhancements that no other regional carrier seems to have.

Keep selling PSA, the industry is taking care of itself. If they are getting so many pilots, why would they make a Kool Aid video? |

But it wont matter. Anyone at Envoy right now will be long gone in 10 years, it will be the rest of the regional industry that will suffer the scars of this agreement. Management, has again won. The lower the cost of regional feed, the greater incentive management has to fight to loosen scope, which hurts us all in the end. Good luck to the Eagle guys and gals. |
Can someone at Envoy provide some insight into your current work rules? I know you have no min day or rigs. What about cancellation pay? Is it trip or leg-by-leg? What rate are deadheads paid at? How about sick and vacation time? About about premium pay including junior mans and open time pick ups. How does trip trading and open work? What's the deal with with PBS? I thought you guys agreed to PBS during the ch.11 contract.

Cancellation-by month, trip and leg=100 after transition, third day of new month.
DH=fifty percent 120% open time, 150% junior manning Trip trading stinks PBS maybe someday but not today |
I am confused. Isn’t the survival game in the regional world virtually, the airline that can attract the new hires, is the airline that will survive?
What about this new contract would attract new hires to Envoy? It essentially puts new hires on a B Scale (C Scale?) with the 12/4 that applies to new hires but does not apply to current pilots (Thank God). No growth. No upgrades. What am I missing that would make Envoy attractive to new hires? And 10 years? All the best to Envoy pilots. |
