I have heard maybe BNA or CVG for PSA. Satellite bases are under negotiations for many cities. Miami might be the first.

"Beyond that, they even are proudly exclaiming they don't care if you can fly a basic ILS..."
Delta hasn't had a SIM eval since prior to 1991. Many airlines don't have sim evals. |

Delta hasn't had a SIM eval since prior to 1991. Many airlines don't have sim evals. It's one thing when you are interviewing at mainline who has much higher standards and experience requirements. It's another thing when you are interviewing a current CFI with ATP minimums or, up until recently, as low as 250-500 hours total time. There is no excuse for PSA "not caring" if their pilots can do basic pilot things. |

The flow chart is sarcasm but the info on it is very much truth.

Current Envoy/AAG employees: watch the latest Town Hall meeting with CEO Doug Parker. Specifically the part where he talks about Regional feed. An AA Captain goes on (another) rant about Mesa. Parker once again states they are very aware of Mesa's short comings.
But the important, key piece Parker states is regarding Envoy. He states once again that the fastest path to AA is through Envoy. It's important to note he is speaking to a very large room filled with current AA employees. He is not making some kind of "sales pitch" to Envoy. He tells the room that if they know any pilots looking for careers to send them over...and emphasizes once again how the path to AA is quickest through Envoy. At the end he mumbles "envoy and/or a wholly owned airline..." Pretty significant. It's on Jetnet where all the other Town Hall videos are. |
