Is there any truth to this whatsoever? I know 4 and 5 year FO's who were on reserve and guys who took 15 years to flow.

Yes, and as you know this industry is static and never changes.

I hope you people see the complete hypocracy and lunacy here. NO TECH OR SIM EVAL!!!!

The only difference between Envoy's "in-person" interviews and Mesa's phone interviews is that Envoy gets to see your ugly mug before you show up for class. Beyond that, they even are proudly exclaiming they don't care if you can fly a basic ILS or read an approach plate. I'd say this is even worse than Mesa.

The SJS has been replaced with a promise of a mainline job.
Do people really believe and trust anyone in aviation?

Rule #1

If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.

Rule #2

Management will do and say anything to fulfill their goals.

The abbreviated application process is only available to existing part 121 pilots. That is significantly different than cold calling people off the FAA database to offer anybody with a license a job.
