Right. Because it's impossible that anyone might have a decent attitude and work for this company. That people can face adversity without being toxic. And it's easier to call people with realistic attitudes management tools instead of thinking that one's self might have a crappy attitude.

Defend them? I don't defend them. I'm very critical of the vast majority of what they do. Even the benefits like 4 hotel rooms a month have negatives like non-commutable lines. So what if it's non-commutable, you get a hotel room. Come in on one of your 11 days off. No real reason to make countable lines because you get hotel rooms, right?

11,000 plus hours of line flying and counting. At a company I actually work for.

It is all what you makr it. Living in DFW has made a big difference to my life in the last good while. Yes I am on rsv, but i can proffer for a good amouny of flying when I want or just hang out and hope the phone doesn't ring. Yes occasionally do have to sit airport standby but ANY regional is what YOU make if it.

I am not an intern or manager, just someone who has learned to take the good with the bad.

There have always been a few VERY angry pilots that work at EVERY airline, including all the mainlines. It's obvious that ag386 is one of them. Somehow they feel that nearly everybody they work with feels the same way they do. The reality is that while most pilots are well aware of the various negatives of working for just about all airlines, most simply take the bad with the good, and don't let it bother them to the point of being perpetually angry. A minority do, and my experience has always been that they are miserable to fly with. They may be fine pilots, and do their jobs adequately or even well, but the constant black cloud hanging over their heads just poisons the atmosphere around them. My experience has been that most of them eventually bail out. I get that. They should. Why continue to work for a company or within an industry that makes you unhappy?

I've finally had enough. Going to PHL job fair for PDT this month. They have the same flow deal over there but the catch is, they have only 450 or so pilots. So a much better chance at actually getting out of there to AA than at Envoy. Let's see, the bottom of 450 pilots or the bottom third of 2000 pilots. It's easy math for me.

I can be treated like dog **** at PDT just like Envoy and at least have a reasonable chance of getting to AA while I apply everywhere else.

Wow, you really are dumb and not good at math either. You know they are smaller but get a much smaller number of flows to even things out right? Also why waste time with a job fair? This is a regional in 2016. Im sure if you put an app in, actually work 121 now and haven't busted all your checkrides here they would just call you in about 5 seconds anyway.. So Have fun over at PDT.

You claim to be working here since around the time Doug Parker and friends came along and ruined American Eagle to just turn it into another one of their crappy Usair trash regionals. So you are going to recycle yourself back to first year pay and the bottom of a seniority list (exactly like they want) to just go to another Usair trash regional also controlled by Parker and friends. That brilliant plan has "what could possibly go wrong" written all over it..

On top of that, the place you plan to start over at the bottom of is "supposedly" going to be getting better due to getting a bunch of our old, worn out, unviable, undesirable Embraer's everyone is trying to get rid of. Not a NEW incoming fleet. Think about that for a second, think a few years ahead.. You know those aircraft will be coming up on very expensive heavy checks, and are probably already scheduled to be parked in the not too distant future right? Have you been to SJT or IGM lately? If you actually work here and you have, you would know that is the future of that old Embraer fleet.. Many of us have delivered them there to die. Rows and rows of dust covered Eagle Embraer's lined up mothballed on the ramps there.

But have fun over there..

Im sure it will be magically better somehow.. Still working for Parker, in the same crappy worn old scheduled to be retired planes. Meanwhile Envoy will lose around 400 pilots senior to you in 2016.. And another 400 or so in 2017.

Going to be funny if/when PDT and ENY eventually get merged and you just end up right back here anyway, just even more junior than when you left. (If you really even work here, which is doubtful since you cant even answer Skyvectors basic questions any Envoy pilot would be able to look up in 2 seconds on our mobile app).

If you hate this company and this new Usair management so much and think the flow won't work anyway.. Going to PDT with several years of seniority here is about the dumbest thing ever. Go to Compass or Frontier or something..

Skyvector 01-05-2016 10:24 AM

First he fake works at Envoy and now he is making a fake lateral move to PDT. In a few years he may or may not be fake working at Envoy again after a merger.

This is getting really meta.

Well at least now we know who you really work for now. Quick everyone! Follow ag386's example as a "current envoy pilot" and go to another wholly owned regional by the same company 'cuz its SO MUCH different over there. Envoy's flow is doomed to fail but PDT's flow is a going to exceed all advertised expectations!

You do serve a good purpose though ag386. Anyone stupid enough to believe your bs is probably not someone I would want to fly with.
