Envoy parking permit at MIA
Any commuters out of MIA. I've been having a little run around trying to obtain a parking pass, envoy is telling me all I need is to bring in a receipt to be reimbursed. The parking authority at MIA is telling me I need an application filled out first to bring in before I can obtain a pass, but when I call envoy they don't know what application I'm talking about.

My understanding of this is second hand and limited so I may be wrong... AAG will not get you a parking pass, even at an AA Domicile if it is not your base. They used to but not anymore. If you do not have a parking pass in your assigned domicile, they will reimburse you up to "the cost of parking in your domicile" with a receipt. Somewhere in the range of $45 - $65. You will have to find your own parking in MIA (not AA parking), a long term pay lot or some hotels have parking. You can then get reimbursed for that parking.
It sucks I know. Another wonderful change brought to you by the management of US Air.

ENY does offer parking... However I'm not sure what airports parking will be approved at for over the base parking limit. ORD employee parking is ridiculously cheap compared to sone major airports that pilots commute out of. NY is over $800/yr., and the company has agreed to reimburse that cost because it's the same price no matter the airport (EWR, JFK, LGA). I thought there was an agreement with MIA, but you'll need to contact the CPO to find out. They handle the parking stipend paperwork.
