I heard we have had over 500 applicants and filling classes of 25 every two weeks until March.
I'm guessing the 500 applicants could be right. The 50 per month until March sounds like a projection. I would imagine if this were true then it would take a little bit longer than two weeks for paper work, interviews, CJO, PRIA, and the CA review board to go through and start assigning classes.
Anyone have any info?

I am curious how many apps were in the system each month prior to the bonus announcement. I imagine with the new bonus you have a lot of lateral career movement and guys working on their 1500 hours who applied early to start getting their name in.

We have not sent 253 this year, we have sent under 200. Our management is telling us they plan on sending 330 next year, though it is true that AA has asked for more than that. While our schedules are still awful I agree that on the whole things are looking up. It's about time.
Another 20 Envoy pilots flowing to AA in July & an additional 100-120 flows by end of 2015. Since January 2013, Envoy has successfully advanced 481 pilots to American Airlines. For 2016 we will flow a minimum of 360 Envoy pilots to AA.
As as result, a new hire at Envoy today is projected to make Captain at Envoy within 2.5 years and is projected to flow through to American within 6 years of date of hire.

With AA supposedly wanting to hire 800-1000 next year, let's hope that 330 is bigger.
