Default Brussels (EBBR)

I'm looking for suggestions to pass on to the company for a crew hotel near the Brussels airport. We will be laying over about 36 hours at a time. Since they have no idea where to put us up, I thought it might be helpful to have a few candidates to throw at them.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Stay away from hotels around the airport. The airport is located in the city of Zaventem just outside of Brussels. It will take you and your crew a long time to go to the heart of the city. I would hope this is what you would want to do.

You can go a tiny bit further (and I have seen a lot of crews going there) next to NATO. It is still very close to the airport (5 minutes of highway) yet you can access the city quickly with transportation. From there you can take the 66 bus who will bring you right in the heart of Brussels. It's a 30 minute ride and will cost you round trip about 3$.

PM and I will send you more info.

When I was flying Lears with the AF in and out of EBBR, a frequent hotel of choice was the Novotel Brussels, Rue du Marché aux Herbes 120, 1000 Brussels.

The location was superb. Right next to the Grand Platz district with eats, pubs, and area attractions. Not but 15 min cab ride from the airport.

How I miss the Beligium beer! Chimay, Cinay, Leffe, Duvel,... etc. etc.

Have fun!
