I seriously doubt as a reserve you would be getting many day trips in TYS. Point being you would probably only make the drive once or twice.

And what is the minimum in-domicile rest? No guarantees here unless it’s in writing, and even then...you know how it is, just sayin’.

Unless something has drastically changed since I left, you underestimate the ability of scheduling to be as inefficient as possible to make themselves look good to ensure reserve utilization is as high as possible. Did they eliminate ARC for TYS? If not, in a 5 block, I could EASILY foresee;

Day 1) 6am ARC, not used
Day 2) 6am show to operate TYS-EWR-(insert overnight)
Day 3) (insert overnight)-IAH, sit 3 hours-DH-TYS
Day 4) not used
Day 5) 6am show, operate TYS-EWR, sit 4 hours, DH EWR-TYS.

With the exception of no ARC on the last day per CBA, ANY OTHER clever combination of the above.

As mentioned, maybe scheduling has changed, but I doubt it.

I hear ya. I'm just saying that TYS is not like EWR or IAH with a bunch of out and back trips. You will probably be working mostly through one of the other hubs keeping you from making the drive to TYS each day. But it's also Scheduling so who knows!

With everything covered, there’s usually a way to uncover it. 74.92 hours or bust!

Most lines below 50% appear to have 95+ hours and 12 days off...some weeks with a single off day.

In the initial window you can attempt to drop duty periods for days that are 1 or higher with coverage. Can’t go below 60 hours in the ILIW. Secondary window you can go down to 0 hours if you so wish (people taking your advertised stuff). I generally drop to 60 and advertise everything giving me 22-24 days off a month.

Yea, the lines have been like that. After line award you do an initial line improvement where you can swap down to smaller trips and/or higher credit trips in open time. I live local so I like shorter trips. During initial, if the days I want to drop are positive, I can drop a 4 day for a 1 day. This opens up a lot of space on my calendar where I can then further swap or pick up the shorter stuff. Lately I've been able to get some really high credit pairings and I'm doing about 82 hours with 16 days off. I need the $ so normally I'll work 90-100 hours with 12 to 15 days off.
