Nobody is foolish to think UA would buy us for the fifty seaters. Even for the obviously out of favor CRJ700s. It’s about the 1,000+ strong highly experienced crews, a great training department and the infrastructure and knowledge to run a large regional.
I can sure think of several (now defunct) airlines which would sure fit that bill.... |

The CRJ700 is the only Aspen approved aircraft so far... E175 cant, A220?? So OO will keep x-amount to support ASE. The rest will go..

The article is clear they are negotiating to see which of their regionals will get the 25. I would place ExpressJet, GoJet and Mesa at the top of the list for getting this business. Republic and SkyWest normally don’t fly United’s aircraft but their own aircraft in United’s colors.
