All I can say is good luck to CS, wherever he ends up. He’s a standup guy trying his best to do what’s best for the CRJ group. He knew he was in an impossible position when he signed on and did it anyway with class and integrity.

So, it is true that Xjet is growing by leaps and bounds like you have been telling everyone.... I don’t know everything about Xjet, just what my buddies there, or used to be there, tell me.

Here is what I know: With pilots like you guys at ExpressJet, it is no wonder SGU sh*t all over you. I hope you aren’t the typical pilots there.
I have been following Xjet for years and watched the airline gradually get wound down base by base, major partner by partner. UAL is what is left. I find it sad and thought SKW management lied to you over and over.

I posted this, because folks need to make informed decisions.
CS is a class act. CS is a class act. I can't say it enough. The level of respect the man deserves is not attainable.
The man has sat in an extremely hard chair.
But, people need to make informed decisions and I am making an educated guess that CS agrees with that sentiment, so I took the liberty of posting this.
I may be wrong. If so, I will apologize.

You can read as much or as little into that letter as you wish. Not really any new info, other than some MEC on MEC details, and CS departing. Can not imagine he is going anywhere else. He can see 65 from where he's at, and I reckon the prospect of some quality time at home with his family sounds pretty darn good.
I'll reiterate, that he is one of my favorite pilots to fly with and an all around outstanding guy. Many thanks to him and the rest of the 4th floor for doing the best job possible in a horrible situation! And a shoutout to TS too, he's done an awful lot for the ASA pilots over the years without much public recognition.
