Default United does away with The Hogan

Holding a class date at Commute air ( not sure if I’ll go or not) depends on what happens here
I’m on there email list and they just advised me that effective today they no longer have to do the Hogan at Commute Airport the CPP
Interesting. Want about XJ?

This seems pretty significant- can anyone confirm this? Any other cpp’s effected?

Well he isn’t wrong about a hogan related email, I thought the same until I re-read it. If I’m reading it right it says you don’t take the hogan BEFORE heading to school anymore and have 1 year from DOH to express interest in the program.

Still have to do the Hogan but now even if you fail you get to do the HR interview. They stopped disqualifying people solely based on the test.

Pretty sure this is unsubstantiated rumor at this point, too. At least for XJT.

Just took the Hogan for C5's CPP, at least for us it is no longer a make it or break it test. There were apparently some stellar pilots who were passed over because of the Hogan, and some marginal ones who got in. United is finally realizing that they should use the Hogan as part of the process, not the main part.

All of us have seen this going on for some time.
