Did they tell you which downtown hotels they are using to house trainees?

It's downtown hotels on overnights over 15 hours. In training you're near the airport.

Cool, that can provide opportunities for nice strolls in the big cities during layovers :)

With the horrible Houston car traffic I'm sure they're housing trainees close to the training center . . . since it's a long continuous training footprint I wonder if the hotels have kitchenettes so healthy-nutrition-conscious trainees can cook their own food? And yes, I know that things were tough in the past with double-occupancy rooms and all but nobody should be bashing anyone about asking that question now

Sadly no kitchenettes that I’ve heard of. Fridge and some were lucky to have a small freezer too. Most people also needed to request a microwave from the front desk.

Correct. I was at the Sheraton for my training. Small fridge in the room and you can request a microwave if they’re available. Nice hotel, pretty decent restaurant, and now they give free breakfast vouchers for Xjet. Also, they have this nice program where if you decline room cleaning, they’ll shove a $5 voucher under your door for each day you decline cleaning.

That's a nice program, until the rooms that no-one ever gets cleaned start growing new life forms...

Never heard of them doing the $5 voucher for us.

What is the timeframe after recieving the cjo? I asked for April 9-15 ATP/CTP course in ATL and May 6 Training start. It still shows under review and no confirmation on dates, any input?

I don't need new sheets and towels every single day (sure as hell don't do it at home). So I'd get my $5 a day vouchers and once a week or so I'd take the tag off the door and have the maids come through.

You should be contacted by one of their travel people to be set up with hotel and flight info. Don’t stress to much. I’m sure they are just a little backed up with the influx of new hires they are getting these days.
