United did the same thing with ZW. Threw as much flying at us as we could handle until all the junior mans, critical pay, and reroutes in the world couldn’t keep planes in the air. Then they cut back on the flying slowly until they reached a point where we could skate by at the bare minimum staffing to avoid cancelling flights.

Not sure how much of that was ZW management and how much was United, but I’m guessing you guys will be pushed hard until you break and then they’ll scale it back.

14 months, IIRC. ExpressJet has scarcely had the time under new management to get a single class through initial.

excuses excuses… is that what they teach you in bottom feeder indoc?

aweee, did I get under your bottom feeder skin? Learn how to manage your contracts so others don't have to pick up your slack.

How long have you been in the industry? In a previous post Blackhawk pointed out some history. It wasn’t too long ago that Republic was in BK, parking planes, lacked crews, being sued by their mainline partners and as you say “dumpster fire”.

You need to realize we are all being played by the big 3. Once you are on top of the regional poop pile get nervous.

Doesnt quite work the same when your parent shoves it down your throat. We’ve been due for some relief on the block hours for quite some time.

Not too bad if it’s 18 three times a month. Our last class in February was 17, first class in March was 18. Let’s see how the next ones go.

It’s okay, YX doesn’t mind picking up the slack. Classes are filled to the end of the year so it won’t be a problem. Let UAL deal with the consequences of their bizarre cheap business strategies. Consolidation of the smaller guys is right around the corner and that’s not a good thing for certain groups. But hey I’ll join the “kool aid drinkers” when the kool aid is written in black ink on my CBA and the facts are posted on a .gov website.

Mid March class was another 17. So 52 new hires in a 30ish-day period.

Not too bad.

Where will all those new hires will be based?. And what frames are they getting assigned
