Indoc
Currently in indoc right now. I was wondering how much of the FOM should be memorized? Is it a good idea to spend most of the time during indoc week preparing for systems instead of studying indoc material?

Nothing in the FOM really needs to be memorized. Something’s you’ll just remember without trying to hard, but the test at the end of indoc is open booked. My understanding is they really want to see that you can navigate the FOM to answer questions that’ll pop up on the line.
If you follow exactly what they tell you to study or what the homework says for that night, you’ll do fine. Hope this helps! Good luck!

They told us not to get ahead, but then randomly one of the instructors said “sure! Start looking at the power up.” But that was a descent amount of time into BI.
We were all a bit confused since they said only to do that nights homework. Near the end of indoc I might’ve looked at the power up a couple days early compared to the homework. But only the pattern, you definitely don’t need to worry about the amplified procedures till you get to that part of systems.
Once you do get to systems, there’s some descent quizlet sets that are somewhat recent.
The program is tried and true. If you follow their footprint you can’t go wrong.

Sweet, I'm a coffee addict lol. How long did it take to study the Sheppard (or similar)?. I finish my last trip next week and I'll have basically a week to memorize that non sense.
