Not sure if serious? Being on reserve here will never be enjoyable. There's so much attrition due to terrible QOL that staffing won't catch up.

11 days off a month minus 3 days a month is not something to "enjoy".

To add to that, did you see the MEC communication regarding the bid packets? 5 people in Houston will be awarded a line that has more than 12 days off. For guarantee? Yeah NO..

This place is a joke. Why would anyone come here?

Quitting will also get managements attention. More people should do that.

Lead the charge, brother.

This is a reminder for those pilots who have not taken advantage of the six month leave opportunity. Get hired at a 121 or part 91 and you can always come back to Express when/if the QOL improves. The more pilots that resign will grab the attention of management and UA. Take the rest of summer off and enjoy not being on reserve.

Correct if i'm wrong. As a new pilot at ExpressJet you're a PROBATIONARY Pilot for one year. Which means you have NO protections from ALPA like I have. When you're a new hire you want to stay off the radar. Don't become a target so management can make an example of you. Management can FIRE you for any reason.

If you want to send a message don't come to ExpressJet!

Let the pilots who are off probation carry the water.

Most pilots avoid Expressjet and go to SkyWest and Republic. They both have six month or longer waiting lists.

Can't speak for Skywest, but Republic actually has class dates open this month and next. We added extra sections.

Things at ExpressJet are THIS bad?! Jeesh, sounds like y’all are the new Mesa.

The day I quit expressjet to go to another regional was the best day of my airline career. Highly recommend. 10/10 would do again.
