Default Pay during training

Are you paid per diem along with the 65 hour guarantee during training?

Sadly no per diem during training. It would be nice if they changed that.

How it training conducted?

Is still class room type structure 9-5pm instructors teaching from the slides?

Do they have any CBT’s for the 145/175 that they hand out before training ?

For the 145, Ground training is 8-5. Yes, they teach from slides, a copy which you will receive digitally and on paper. You’ll also get access to the FMS lab to work on programming flight plans, etc.

You’ll get CBTs throughout training but not before; they are not necessarily related specifically to your ground school training, but required by the company. At least on the 145, you won’t receive any study material in advance. The program is very structured so they will tell you exactly what to study every day.

Hope this helps.

Delays, the 175 is not AQP, and you have a 50% chance of doing sims with Flight Safety instructors in STL. I’ve heard there’s quite a disconnect in how XJT does things and what FS instructors teach.
