19-05 bid announced

30 more 175 CAs for ORD

Since there aren’t going to be any 145 upgrades on this bid does this now mean all 145 upgrades go to infinity?

There will probably be still be upgrades on the 145. As people bid out of the 145 for the 175, it will create vacancies on the 145.

I agree, just trying to make a point.

If they all go to Sr folks though there are those on here who will see fit to use that as fuel for their agendas, when there weren’t even supposed to be any upgrades to those bases in the first place.

Good god man. You and your agenda conspiracies. Sorry. No one buys that any more.

All 145 upgrades go to C5 and all the C5 pilots make 200% on days off. Only XJT pilots make a max of 150%. Mesa pilots still make 300% flying on days off.

True but I’m sure you’re not able to drop down to 60 credit hours and pick back up at 150%. Management knows that what most guys do here. 200-300% guys would be making mainline pay easily.

Upgrade time will drop around 6 more months with this bid. Getting very close to 2 years.

^^I wonder if this guy gets paid to post recruitment propaganda.

19-05 will lower upgrade time an additional 6 months to 2 yrs? Do explain! This bid is for 30 Captain vacancies on the E-175 in ORD for the new base. Naturally many senior people will move from the E-145 to the E-175 and allow for some upgrades. How will this bring our upgrade time down when EWR is the most junior base?

Upgrade time in ORD is 10yrs, 6 months. What will that come down to with the new bid? 2 yrs?

It will drop to just over 2 years. What about that statement is so hard to understand? Your argument is so ridiculous. Why do you quote individual base upgrade times from bids in which that base had no openings, and got 1 or 2 because of someone taking the new plane and creating a vacancy at their old base?

I am trying to give potential new hires or whoever else might like it information about the earliest available upgrade at the company. Not a bunch of convoluted numbers about the most Jr upgrade to a base during a bid that had no openings to that base. I think the difference is very obvious.

As far as explaining how it will happen just watch ok? Make as big a deal about it as you can right now so that you can sound that much dumber when it does actually happen.
