That is weird. Any one else from other classes experience this, what’s the time frame on finding out where you’re based? Have heard end of week one or two, but that’s almost a month....people gotta plan 🤷*♂️

I waited 7 weeks from day 1 of BI for my assignment.

CW, I'm don't think your info is correct I'm curious who gave you that info. Only 52 FO's are assigned to the 175 and I'm not sure how many are even qualified.

I count 137 on the seniority list. You have a good point, the majority of those are still in training. I just figured with that many names on the list they would start focusing back more on the 145 for the time being

7-10 aircrew per aircraft. XJT has 14.

They're getting 1-2 175s a month, so 10-20 more 175 assignments.

Your chance depends on class size.

On the 175 it’s ORD since they are flooding it right now to staff it as the next base.

How about the 145? Which plane is a new hire probably going to get? I’m considering XJT talked to a recruiter today.

Chances are about 50/50 for now between the two fleets, but if we don’t receive more 175s the odds for a 145 assignment will increase. As for 145 junior bases, it’s hard to tell because everyone is assigned IAH while in training but it looks like you could get anywhere but TYS pretty much out of training.

I’m hoping for the 145. I still don’t get why people are saying IF we get more 175s though, granted that ignorance comes from my lack of time in the regional industry. Then I question why would UA buy XJT two 175 sims for only 25 airplanes, does not make sense to me....but that’s just me I guess. I’m sure I’ll learn with time 🤷*♂️

No 175s in the last two classes (9/9 and 9/16 - 28 people total). Not sure about the 8/26 class.

I was saved from myself. The SNJS was starting to set in. All my mainline friends were saying "take the big airplane if you can". But I really mainly want to fly and minimize reserve time, so the intelligent choice was clear. But still.....SNJS!!!! Probably lucky I was not given a choice. The 145 will be infinitely cooler than anything I've flown before.
