Default Trip lengths and destinations

Can anyone tell me what the typical schedules look like out of IAH on the 145. Are the out and back trips usually taken by the more senior fo and captains? What about days away from base. Any destinations with time between flights to explore or rest?

Mostly four to five legs per day. Some days have two legs including five hour sits at outstations. We have no duty rigs, so you might be lucky to make two hours of pay for an entire day of work. In the summertime, the 145 air packs do not work at all, you have cockpit temps reach 100 deg or more. Overnights are boring. Welcome to ExpressJet...

He’s definitely one of the negative Nancys that we have here at XJT. Depending on the overnights, some are not bad at all. My favorite in to particular order. SAV CVG BNA LCH EWR if it’s long enough I love going into the city! there’s a few others

Would you hire someone with such a positive outlook?

I think you can if it’s within 48 hrs. Outside of that only your base
