I was wondering about that.

I think you might be one of the last groups to interview.

Plus be prepared to wait in a pool for a class date. Just a rumor but I heard that the last class for a while will be Set 17th. They may not have a class again until November. Just a rumor so see what you can find out. Maybe go to the expressjet forums and see.

Thats a "likely" rumor..... I'd look for things to be a little slow for a few months and pick back up early next yr. Might be worth the wait...... Never know, as this stuff changes with the wind but thats as the current wind blows.....

Buddy at CAL had Larry in class yesterday and he said that CAL is going to pull more aircraft from Express and shrink EWR and replace with Q400s and 73s. This was yesterday.

Not surprising. But remember, it can't do it until Jan. '09.

Hello,
I recently received an e-mail to reschedule my interview and the first date available was Oct. 16th. So possibly there is no interviews between now and Oct 16th? Also I have already received a confirmation e-mail for that date with my flight record locator number.

Thanks,
Ken

I heard another "rumor" (for what it's worth - maybe not much) that Expressjet is going to finally agree to CAL's demands for a reduction in costs to keep CAL from pulling any more jets from service. Express Jet has been unable to interest any other carrier in their service due to their "high costs" and the stand-alone operation is too costly to continue (read - not making any money).

?

Last I heard Branded was doing just fine. In fact, better than expected, with some very nice load factors. XJT took a hit to profits this last quarter, but that was expected due to the fact that a whole new operation was just started. I don't think Branded is going anywhere for a while.

Also, isn't DAL interested in actually increasing the LAX operation?
