I did the 737 sim. It was a joke. I thought I had killed my chances, but they called the next day.
I wished I got called the next day... but alas I chose the ASA option... so here I sit and wait... |

I've heard a lot of complaints from those who took it on the 737 (myself included) I'm wondering if they should lose the sim eval if the CRJ isn't available...

Ok so I have a question. I know someone who interviewed last week and was initially only offered the March 28 ExpressJet class. This would have only allowed for a one week notice for the current job. The April 4 ASA class would have allowed for 2 weeks notice but was apparently full. So my question is, why would they fill the April 4 class first and did anyone get the choice between ASA or ExpressJet or did everyone just get assigned something?

Wow this thread kinda exploded. When I started it I had no idea so many people would be interested. Thanks to all who helped contribute to it. I just finished my first 6 days of reserve after IOE and am based in EWR. If anyone has some questions about training and what not, please read the whole thread because there are a lot of helpful tips. Especially the first few pages. Not that I am an expert but I can help answer questions too. It was a great experience and I learned more than I ever thought I would. The key is to study hard and listen to the instructors. We have some fantastic instructors at Expressjet and they will do whatever it takes to help you out. I love this job already and look forward to more flying!
On a side note, does anyone know the next class dates and how many are in them? Got some friends who are looking to apply. |
