Not sure about the full pay to the last day thing - so far they haven't come to us for a fourth round of concessions.

In the last three years I've been awarded JFK Captain, then back to CVG FO, then JFK FO, then back to CVG FO, then DTW CA and back to CVG FO. Note that these are only awards... in the last three years I have never actually been anything else besides CVG FO. Truth is, Delta makes this up as they go along. No sense starting over at regional first year pay based on Delta's ever-changing Magic 8-Ball business plan.

If I quit now, Delta would reward me by kicking RAH to the curb over scope violations and dump all those nice EMB-175s on Comair to fly so we're attractive enough to sell.

Of course this will never happen because I haven't left yet.

Besides, I'm still waiting for Comair to give me my ATP this September so I can go to JetBlue or wherever.

Then again, maybe I should go to CommutAir so someday I can learn how to really fly from Captain Tim Martins!

I do not see Delta parking 50 seat RJ's for Colgan Saabs. If you have followed the industry you would have seen Mesaba Saabs being returned every month with final phase out no later than summer 2010. Delta has announced they do not want props anymore. Why would they drop Mesaba's Saabs for Colgan's older Saabs? Does not make any sense.

Also, the new Pinnacle will have close to 150 50 seat RJ's so why do you assume 50 seaters are going to be parked for props and that Pinnacle will be immune with their large 50 seat fleet?

And on a lighter note...PruneJuice?? there is only one kind of juice on these forums, THE JUICE

Fyi, Delta Execs took a Demo flight in the Q a couple weeks ago and we have options for 30more. Q flying will eat up a lot of 50 seat RJ flying in the near future

Pinnacle Corp has been giving "demo" rides to everyone and anyone recently, I think my grandma took one last week also.

CAL/United will have first dibs for Q's 46-60

Isn't delta keeping Mesabas saabs after all? I was told that mesaba is not furloughing anymore and now hiring because of this. As far as parking 50 seaters, delta is trying to dump 50 seaters like an overweight girlfriend. They are looking for loopholes to cancel contracts just to dump 50 seaters. They did it with mesa they tried to do it with pncl and now the rumor is they want to snag asa with it,

and as far as the juice goes. There are many kinds of juices. Some juices help you crap while others help you bleed (too soon?).

Just curious how old you are and do you have an quality pic? Seems like there is a big hiring wave going on and longer you wait the more behind you will be. Early 2012 is less than a year from now you don't want to be stuck unemployed. Have you thought about skywest or pncl?

Mesaba issued a recall of their furloughs because 1) US Airways LGA flying for 7 Saabs and 2) Many of the furloughs are flying currently from PCL and a few for CJC as part of the MOU offered to MSA furloughs. Mesaba is not hiring right now for Mesaba planes, they are interviewing for Colgan aircraft and bases.

As of this second the Saabs are still being returned...hopefully Delta changes their mind but as of now the return will continue.

Thats strange I could have sworn that mesaba was keeping the delta saabs. Are you sure about that? I mean I read it off flight info and it has to be true.

I would love to see more options picked up as much as the next guy but the demo ride doesnt give me much hope. For what its worth I gave Delta a demo ride back in I believe late January of 2008.....maybe I blew it on the landing?

Mesaba is now hiring, a vacancy was just posted the other day. This is not for the Colgan certificate.
