Thinking about my family means not thinking about SkyWest or Pinnacle.

Our payrates are much higher than commute air and rival that of express jet. Before you make a decision do some in depth research because as stated earlier its no longer the Colgan you're thinking of.

Pay rates are pointless if you don't have good workrules. Enjoy your 6 hours of airport reserve for three hours of pay.

I believe Colgan reserves usually break guarantee.

Its always helpful when people pick and choose one specific part of a contract where theirs is superior. In a 31 section, multiple hundred page contract there are bound to be sections where one airline is superior over another. Look at the big picture of each contract and specifically the IMPORTANT parts. The first section you should look at is scope, not ready reserve.

Regional scope is worth less than the paper it is printed on.

Think your scope is bulletproof? That illusion only exists because no one has made a serious effort to circumvent it.

That was an example, not a statement of our iron clad or not scope. Simply stating that there are far more important items in contracts where special attention should be paid. To go through any airlines multi hundred page contracts and use a paragraph of one section to compare the worth of an entire airlines contract is not the way to pick an airline.

I would love to pull the cockpit tapes after XJT and ASA merge their lists,

"Our group has the biggest tools, No, our group has the biggest......"
