It's a cluster of a test, I wrote a gouge on will fly for food. 60 mins for 60 questions, so you definitely have to pace yourself, no calculator allowed either.
A lot of descent planning questions, fuel calculations and not to mention any FARs questions are outdated such as crossing runway clearances.
I used the aerodynamics for naval aviators and the everything explained for the professional pilot books. You can get the naval book for free online.
Do your best seems they're looking for at least a 50% grade on it I think last I heard. Most applicants are CFIs with no previous job knowledge, so I'm sure that levels the playing field.
Good luck pm me if you have questions.

So is the express jet test, pretty much the same as delta's test?
The cog test still has that 1980s apple computer game feel to it with the 5 inch diskette. So if you ever get the call for DL at least you know what to expect as far as computer testing.

Yes, same outdated test! Seems all DCI carriers have the same 3 tests now that DL uses. CP 9E EV with the exception of OO and RP that do their own thing.
