You may say that this respects seniority, and it does in a way, but vacation low gives a pilot a few months of reprieve from a full year of reserve hell.

I missed the section on where it says you cannot big vacation low with a hybrid line. That was my fault as I've been on a trip the last 3 days since the e-mail came out, and only had a chance to review it on my phone and not a computer. Never had a chance on a computer with about 10 schedule changes.

The wording is convoluted. It looks like you cannot get paid min guarantee if you set your window below 75 and PBS awards a line valued at less than 75. The hybrid line is going to take QOL away from some people on the line between reserve and lineholder.

What section are you looking at? Is it the add pay section?

As far as pay, yes, I think it was the add pay section. Don't have it in front of me.

As for the QOL, I see the company adding reserve days to anyone whose schedule is awarded below 75 hours. In other words, if your schedule would have awarded you 68 hours, then today you get paid for 75 with extra time off. In the future you will get awarded 68 plus 2 days of reserve.

I believe it says you can't get "ADD" pay if you set your personal credit threshold below 75. I don't think it says you will be paid whatever you set your personal credit threshold, if it's below 75. I believe we are still guaranteed 75 hours

I'm glad to hear you guys are finally getting add pay. For some reason, that was a stumbling block. Sounds like people changed their mind.

Don't fall for any change to vacation low. That is by far the best tool when being able to get time off. Any change to it is purely to benefit the company and make you work more for the same or pay.

link to LOA 14

Can someone post a link to LOA 14? I can't find it and if it was attached to an email I must have discarded it accidently.

Vacation low isn't going away, it's either a use one or the other ONLY for hybrid lines, not for straight reserve or line holders.

The add pay only refers to if you set your PCT below 75, and you're awarded a line with less than 75, you're still paid 75. But you need to work for free if you pick something up before you go above 75. If you're awarded a line with 65, you're still paid 75, but you no longer need to work 10 hours for free to make money. Anything you pick up, is paid outside the MMG.

Loginto ASA Master Executive Council, and on the right side there is a section that says "LOA 14 CFFO Information". It has the LOA, Q&A (updated one coming soon), and a quick summary.

Looks like no more Delta fleet reduction for now. I suppose that's good news.
