Beefjerky,

Reserve times depend where you're based. I'm ORD based and even though I've been here a year and seven months I'm only 8 from the bottom of the list in ORD...been on reserve since I got hired and I'm looking at another year or two at least. I decided to move to base and it's honestly not too had...They didn't use me three days I was on call so I was home a decent amount this past month since I also had 12 days off, but then again I'm being used more and more because of attrition compared to last year when I flew 15 hours a month when I was ewr based this time last year.

If I was ewr based id be off reserve in 6 more months most likely...

Thanks man

so much for that 4 year upgrade time...

I keep offering to help the CA's with catching up their logbooks and filling out their applications, but no luck yet.

The laziness of the modern man is truly amazing. The biggest hiring boom in history and still they can't be bothered filling out the apps. Then when the ugly happens they will be the first to complain.

And then they will sling gear for us. Peculiar industry, 'eh?

Indeed it is.

Well. Any early opinions on the LOA?

IMO on any LOA read it without the drama. See what it will OR will not do for you. Listen to others with "rational" viewpoints then pull the trigger and vote.

My reading of it is that the new hybrid lines will make it much harder for junior "vacation low" bidders to hold a line.

Funny how this Loa came out so quick. Why not just wait for the contract extension offer that should be out within two months? Something doesn't add up.

And the "REPS" of the MEC are in the crew lounges, yet again, trying to sell us a TURD.

Oh, and in the ATL LEC the election vote is running concurrently.

Wake up ASA sheep, you're about to get fleeced again by the ALPA leave full timers.
