Has anyone else noticed the expressjet adds on here that say "ready for the respect you deserve?" Is it even legal to blatantly lie in an advertisement like that? :D

Technically it's not lying, it's colorizing; like a realtor saying "best views in the world".

The problem is the reality of the adversarial relationship won't change until the middle level of the occ and go changes. BS may be trying to change culture, but when things get tough those managers will go right back into their bags of dirty little tricks.

I worked 4 day lines and 1 cdo during my vacation month as an LASA Captain.

That is not bad, but do you understand how XJT pilots can work one 4-day for just one week of vacation, while still crediting 75+ hours?

Lets not go overboard now. I've been able to do that only once. Both side's vacation rules are good.

The only thing I don't like about the ASA vacation work rules that XJT has is I can pick up on my vacation month and its add pay to the 75 hrs. ASA is not, but this is just a language thing in the contract. I think you vacation low is great. Now its all about getting awesome work rules in the next contract to make it better.

The same goes with the CRJ side. 4 day lines and a nap is an epic vacation schedule, but not to be expected. If you do everything perfect you still need 37 hours of credit to complete your schedule, so do the math and figure out how many trips you would need to complete your schedule. I usually end up with 6-7 days working, which isn't bad, all things considered.

It'd be good if they'd nix that ready reserve garbage in the next contract. What a load. Just sitting there hoping it won't be a wasted day WTH. Since this place is so stagnant keeping so many on reserve near forever, that would be a great QOL boost.
