Long call at this company is useless as a commuter, because they can convert you to short call 7 times a month. And by "can" I mean they will. Just because they can. You'll need a crashpad.
I got lucky last month and held the last LCR line for ATL CR7 and it was the most amazing bump in QOL I've had since I've been here(2yrs). I'm a commuter and everyday I didn't get used I enjoyed being at home with my family(15 days off). I was apprehensive about being converted to SCR from the various war stories I had heard but it only happened once. I checked the reserve coverage and it did seem that it was a 'just because' and further exacerbated by the fact they didn't call me, oh well. I didn't need a crashpad and got a hotel for only one night to be in position for a early start the next day. This month though QOL went far left to 4am SCR :( .Ahh the good things in life.
