Wondering if any current employee knows the status of CLE as a domicile. If it is still active, is it stable? It is listed on the airline profile, but I know United is shrinking its presence in CLE.
Thanks

Cleveland has shrank, however it has stabilized, the number of lines has remained the same for at least the the last four months. I suspect Cleveland will see some new hires getting based there in the near future It is however a black hole, so very few commuters will consider it.

Have you ever met a Clevelander? They are just happy the whole country got to watch them get humiliated. Usually the only people who see it are the two cities the game is being broadcast in.

I'm not CLE based, I'm ORD based, but I did the drive from PIT when I went through IOE last year. The drive isn't bad on the turnpike besides the horrible Ohio roads (and drivers). I managed to get there consistently in about an hour and a half from the North Hills.
I would be based there, but I don't see how I could do that on reserve without racking up a billion miles on my car, don't want to do the whole crashpad thing either (and got a gf in Chicago now..oops). If you could hold a line, it would be perfect though.
