Just me, but when I got hired there was nothing like this. I woulda loved to see how the company operated. I get they aren't taking resumes... but they do have your info that you were there from everyones profile IDs. Take 8000 profile ids and then look at the (however many) they let attend. IMHO, shows persistence and motivation and one more thing to set apart for the 8000. Others might see it different.
