FedEx Express to Host Pilot Career Expo
Mar 10, 2017 • Flight Management
FedEx Express is excited to host its first ever Pilot Career Expo on Wednesday, May 3, in the FedEx Express Experience Center. The one-day session is designed to highlight what it's like to fly for the industry's premier airline, and to introduce Memphis, our global headquarters for more than four decades.
The Pilot Career Expo will be purely informational in nature, providing our guests a glimpse into our operations, our core values and an opportunity to learn firsthand why FedEx is such a great place to work.
The Pilot Career Expo will include presentations by FedEx executives and will feature a host of exhibits surrounding FedEx operations, innovation and our approach to safety. FedEx will offer hub tours to a limited number of attendees the evening before the Expo. Additionally, FedEx representatives will explain pilot hiring requirements and provide an overview of our application and interview processes.
Space will be limited, and slots given to applicants who have an active profile on fedex.pilotcredentials.com on a first come, first served basis. If they do not have an active profile, applicants should visit fedex.pilotcredentials.com to complete one and review our minimum qualifications. Applicants that already have an active file entered, should revisit and update as needed. FedEx Express will open up registration Monday, March 27, at 8:00 am CDT, on the Pilot Career Expo website.

Participation in the 2017 FedEx Pilot Career Expo is not a guarantee of employment with FedEx Express. Please also note that no interviews will be conducted during the event.

Perhaps it's the link in post 2? But, you have to be a current pilot to access that. Would make more sense to post it on the pilot careers website...maybe if we just wait a day or two, it'll show up there?

On the site it says "In order to register for this event, you must have a profile with Pilot Careers (links to Pilot Credentials). Please create a profile before registering. Once you have created a profile, you will be assigned a Profile ID number. This ID number will be required to register."
Any idea where to find the Profile ID number? Clicked through the entire app with no luck.
Also, while looking for the Profile ID number, I noticed for the first time under the Account Setting tab that "FedEx charges a $75 application fee for all new profiles except where prohibited by law." Is this new? Anyone pay this? I've never paid it, and there's no option to pay it on the site. Wondering if not seeing a profile ID # has anything to do with not paying the application fee.
