For you "wannabes" here on APC, all of us understand your anxiety. We were all in your shoes once.
You're lucky enough to have a "What's the point then?" expert right here on APC. Maybe it's time to ask WWAD?
"What would Albie do?"
He's one of the smartest folks around in the airline hiring world. If he recommends doing something, I'd do my best to do it!
Good luck with your job search!*? It's worth the temporary pain!!!

Found my profile ID on the profile page at PC. It's near the top, to the right of your name. Don't remember it being there before. Maybe a response to a bunch of inquiries about an in house conference somewheres.

Just heard back from Fleet Mgmt; they will not be accepting resumes. Info only. Still probably a good opportunity to show interest and ask questions. Can't hurt except the expense incurred to your wallet. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

If folks sign up for the Career Expo through Pilot Credentials won't the organizers already have a list of names of all the attendees and hence access to their resumes should FDX desire to learn more about each individual? Thus there would be no need to ask for resumes at the event. I would think everyone in attendance would have their resumes and a business card as up to date as possible prior to attending.

You're right ... I don't think I'd go if I were you!*?

I guess I should have been more clear. My point wasn't to not go. I've encouraged friends who desperately want to be at FDX to go. Any info someone can gain is more beneficial to making a good decision and for an interview. My point was that since they already have access to the resumes maybe that's why they are saying resumes won't be collected.
