Sounds about right!! Not sure either about the RA day, just glad it worked out :)

It was actually the RA day after the vacation that was moved to later in the month, the one on the 30th was coded as a vacation day after the window closed.

The Verbiage in Reconstruction is R day Blocks, plural, they are only going to have a Single R day if they are required to do so.

For Example, if you had a larger Vacation period and the Extension+Vacation days added up to 18...then you'd wind up with a Single R day.

Otherwise, they could only use you on an O&B trip or pay the Overage if they launched you.

One mistake people occasionally make in a Reserve Vacation month is being sick for the 3 or 4 days they have left with the expectation that they'll only be charged SL if assigned a trip...but, it's one of those things that if your Sick for Every R day you Could be launched on they charge you for the whole block

Why would they only be able to use you on an out and back trip or pay overage if you only had one R day? If you had RA, your call out starts at midnight and goes until 1159, but your R period starts at 0130 and goes until 0129.

Good point,
I tend to think more of RB or even RSV during a Vacation month, but there's certainly the potential for a trip to fit into the RA window.

Just pretty unlikely, IMO.
Barring First fly, tend to be pretty far down the leveling list so my expectation is a late morning DH assignment-still certainly has the possibility of fitting into an RA block, but more likely a next morning return

Bottom Line is CRS will NOT build a Single R day block, unless that's their only option
