Benefits

I just got word that I passed the 2 day interview and am waiting for a class date.

I can see the pay scale on here but don’t really have a good idea of what other benefits are offered.

Any help is appreciated.

I'm also a recent hire

I would recommend downloading a copy of the 2015 CBA and reading it through a couple of times. At the very least, look through the pertinent parts that interest you the most. Congrats!

Thanks. I’m at a legacy carrier in my first year but I live in the Memphis area so being home based is huge. However I’m projecting 3% seniority when I retire where I’m at and maybe 20% at FedEx.

How long after you interviewed did you find out about the job offer? I know it used to by the end of day 2, but now I'm hearing anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks..!

Congrats, that’s great news!

How long did your app sit with FedEx before they called to offer an interview? I assume you listed as available immediately?

By living in Memphis, your seniority gets an artificial boost by virtue of having more options to manipulate your schedule. Plus, you'll probably be earning a better wage earlier in your career than you would at the legacy. So, long term you may be better off.

Yep how senior would you have to be at a legacy to do PM O&Bs to BHM.

We don’t fly PM O&B’s to BHM.
