Sort delays
So the PFC site says we are experiencing numerous crew delays for arriving late and if the sort is late it does not mean your flight is late... this happened to me ... i was on the wake up program and they called me 30 minutes later cause the sort was 30 minutes late.. we get to the plane and the ramp is loaded and looking for us..
So does FLIGHT COORDINATION call based on each flight (doubt it) or do they go on the sort time ? For the wake up program ...

If by us, you mean FedEx, yes. If you mean us, as in flight crew, then no. GOC is supposedly monitoring your flight and adjusts your departure time based on the information they receive on the sort. As you mentioned from the FCIF, not every flight is affected by sort delays, so it is up to GOC to monitor the status of your flight. If they wake you 30 minutes late, then you can show to the aircraft 30 minutes late without a crew delay.
I look at it as I got 30 minutes more sleep instead of sitting on the plane for 1 hour+ waiting for the plane to be loaded. Never heard a complaint from the packages and I haven't had to fill out a crew delay report for being late after a late wake-up.
