Because guys never flew tired in the military.

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a nomination for ‘Tool of the Day’

I’d say you just made the list.

Most line pilots save for the regional pukes could learn this stuff in a month. But what we have at the SIG, in my opinion, is a network where guys overstate their importance so as to maintain the luxuries these jobs afford.

I could be wrong.

I’m not sure why you would say that and turn this into a regional versus...whoever discussion. All the regional pilots, except for Skywest people, came from union pilot groups that have seen and dealt with a lot of the good, bad, and ugly.

Or maybe we are misunderstanding you? I’m not sure what your point was with that comment.

Every time we start a circular firing squad, a management angel gets his wings.....

Just a little sarcasm from a ‘regional puke.’ I’m not into apology tours, so your not going to get one. if you’re offended, get over it.

how come nobody’s insulted the guys with a corporate background yet

Im not offended in the slightest. You’re entitled to your opinion. It’s my opinion that anyone who would make a comment like that is deserving of a ‘Tool of the day’ nomination.

Now I’m going to nominate you for ‘Tool of the Day’ again today, and if that offends you then I’d just say to get over it 😉

Is this discussed in email or a scheduled communique somewhere?

Go to the FedEx ALPA homepage. Click on the ‘News’ tab, and you’ll find two messages in the ‘All Local & Block Newsletters’ on 2/15/19. One is from Council 14, and the other from the MEC Chairman.

They don’t really explain what happened, but rather what they’re doing about it.
