Default DXB Laundry?

Anyone had luck finding somewhere to get laundry done near the Sofitel in Dubai? Don’t want to get taken to the cleaners! (I crack myself up...)

Thanks!

If you’re going to India next, you might as well wait for the free wash. The best I’m the system. If not as the hotel front desk.

You get two pieces complimentary at the Sofitel in Dubai, one trouser one shirt. Not sure about the Crown Plaza, haven’t stayed there in years. However they do a better job in India.

There's tons of laundry places next to the ski mall.

Sofitel laundry doesn’t have to be pant and shirt. A nice Tip will usually get whatever you need cleaned returned within a hour or so, if not go around behind the hotel where the quickie mart is and keep walking about 10 mins opposite direction from the mall. It’s on google maps.

You are correct, a good tip goes a long way. In my opinion it goes further in India. If you are lucky to have the old guy come pick up the laundry, he normally ask you to give him everything need washed. Just remember to tip him when he picks it up because, he is not the guy that normally brings it back in the evening. Or you just may be out of the room when they deliver.

India would be a little longer walk and it’s not Dubai.
