On a curious note:
Work TIL 60 = live another 18 years average
Work TIL 65 = live another 8 years average
I was given this information twice now by 2 separate FedEx jump seaters last year. I can’t find this study, heck I’ve found another study indicating we (or you) live longer than the general population on average (Americans). Frustrating if the study does exist and the 1970-90s studies are very dated of course.
Any hard data within the past 2 decades or newer? We all understand how genetics, our constant physicals and many maintain quite a fitness regimen which correlate to our longevity, but just looking for any recent study. Not advocating early retirement as I have known 5 individuals that passed (not pilots) within 5 years of their military retirement, lack of purpose or follow-on career perhaps. —— Once again, just curious no worries - Thx.

I wouldn’t vote for Biden if Medicaid started at 50. The amount you’ll pay in federal income taxes will negate any gain. Buying your own health insurance to bridge the gap isn’t prohibitively expensive.
