Default Cessna Courier

Any idea if these will be flown by FedEx mainline or by the regionals partners?

These seem like the future and will be taking over the C208 fleets at the regionals partners.

The aircraft will be owned by FedEx but flown by one of their feeder operators like Mountain Air Cargo.

Mountain Air cargo will be operating the first one unless something drastically changes.

During Summer of 2019 at Oshkosh AIR VENTURE, there was a lot of buzz about this new twin engine Caravan, we now know is called the Courier, which would maybe be in service sometime in 2020 ............ Last thing I read about it being in service was now planned for 2021. Both Mountain Air Cargo and Empire, are supposed to operate these aircraft as FedEx feeder airplanes. It appears to be a perfect fit for the system as it will be able to carry the same containers inside its hull as do the FedEx mainline cargo jets. Will be operated as a two man crew aircraft, according to what I was told by Empire last summer.
