I think that’s the correct answer. Don’t yell at the guy, but report him. I can’t think of anywhere in the world that doesn’t let you quickly move your mask down for a sip of coffee.

What a disappointment...when I saw the title Crew Bus Driver I was expecting a brand new rumor.

Exactly. And what happened to empathy? Maybe this guys wife of 35 years contracted covid and died alone in the hospital on a vent? You never know. From what it sounds like, you weren't wearing your mask. Not trying to stir the pot, but for what your W2 says, is this really worth your time? Shake your head, laugh and move on. This guy is probably just a power hungry tool, BUT you truly never know what someone is going through. There's no need to flex on him and call up management.

That very well could be true. You never know what someone is going through, which is why I feel it's best to let stuff go and avoid further confrontation. However, personal tragedy does not excuse irrational behavior (e.g., yelling at others). He could also just be power hungry, and money has nothing to do with that.

Everybody has problems; so what. This guy needs to keep his cake hole shut.

There are bad apples on both sides of the coin. Are there bus drivers that make you hold on for dear life? Yes. Are there pilots that maliciously comply with the mask rule? Definitely. I just flew with a guy that would walk around holding his mask and if someone questioned him he would hold it up to his face. Either way, for the 99-percent of the workforce that doesn’t actively make problems for each other, like another poster above said, just laugh about it later while you make draft money after a freezing rain thunderstorm pounds Memphis during a launch.

My mask was off for about 2 seconds to unlock my phone. I had already replaced it by the time he finished yelling to the back of the bus. I can assure you that I wasn’t offended enough to waste my own time running this up the flag pole. I simply said, “thanks for the ride, have a nice morning” and then I got off the bus and went about my day, I’m in complete agreement with you.

He was yelling, “mask on. Get your mask on” in a very authoritative tone. It wasn’t even necessarily personal in any way. I would caution him that at 4am someone is going to be tired and irate and maybe less patient and based on his tone and body language I could see it taking an unwanted turn.

Just my $.02

I would have ripped one right before I was walking out the bus. Then as he shuts the door, look back and give that face saying “how’s that mask working now, pal?”

I wear my mask when out in public. But your statement that cases are surging all over the world does not agree with the facts, the number of positive cases in the US and most other countries has sharply declined. Please share factual information, not false opinions.

I think you missed the sarcasm of the post you’re referring to.
