Yes but we also have MPDP.

Ive called in fatigued in field upon landing a few times. Always told em I need 12 hrs in hotel to feel rested. Instead of landing at 8:30 am we landed at 10:30….still had to wait for stairs🤣

The truth would have pay, layover, duty, and day off implications if the pairings were built accordingly. SIG? Contract enforcement? Bueller? Apparently bidpack pairings are just make believe (along with all of the contract parameters that must be considered when building them).

If the MEC won't push this most basic issue, then how will the details of any new contract even apply?

Nearly the 6,000 independent FedEX pilot contractors is why.

After all, we are required to be here and are usually sitting in the cockpit, ready to fly, so pay us.

I get what you're advocating for. I once suggested we get paid by the Duty Hour. Any overage above scheduled would pay extra.

I hate when we're stuck in the AOC, waiting almost endlessly around for the sort or the aircraft to show up and we don't get paid unless we're on a jet and the motors are spinning.
